Bauer Park

Bauer Park is a mid-size neighborhood park located in Huntington Beach, California. Situated near the beach on Newland Street, the park offers a blend of recreational facilities and open spaces for community enjoyment. The park is surrounded by gated communities but remains open to the public, providing a local gathering spot for families and residents.

The park features a playground area divided into two sections: one designed for children aged 2-5 years and another for those aged 5-12 years. The younger children's area includes a small play structure with three slides, fish tunnels, a climbing arch, and swings. For older children, the park offers a larger play structure with monkey bars, unconventional ladders, three slides, and a prominent orange climbing wall. A notable feature is the polygon spiderweb structure, which provides additional climbing opportunities.

Bauer Park's design allows for easy supervision, as parents can readily observe children in both play areas. The park's surface is made of recycled rubber, enhancing safety for active play. Palm trees scattered throughout the park contribute to a tropical atmosphere, while a large grassy area provides space for various activities.

While the park offers numerous recreational options, visitors should note that there are no restroom facilities available on-site. Additionally, parking is limited to street parking along Lomond, with specific street sweeping schedules to be aware of.
