Concordia Park is a neighborhood park in Oakland, California. The park spans 3.51 acres (14,200 m2) and serves as a local recreational space for the surrounding community. Situated adjacent to Evergreen Cemetery, Concordia Park provides a green oasis in the urban environment.
In 2019, the park underwent significant renovations, including the addition of a new basketball court. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was involved in unveiling the revamped court, which features vibrant graphics and some of Curry's favorite phrases. This renovation has helped modernize the park and increase its appeal to local residents.
The park also includes a playground area, which was the focus of a community project in 2014. ABC7 News and the non-profit organization KaBOOM! collaborated to transform the playground, demonstrating ongoing efforts to improve and maintain the park's facilities for neighborhood children.
