About Gardenland Park in Sacramento

Gardenland Park is a 6.05-acre neighborhood park in the South Natomas community of Sacramento, California. The park features a variety of recreational facilities and amenities for visitors of all ages.

One of the park's main attractions is its interactive water spray feature, which replaced an old wading pool. This splash pad jets water out of the ground at different intervals, allowing children to play, walk, run and jump through the water. Adjacent to the water feature is a plaza area with picnic tables and shade trees.

In addition to the water play area, Gardenland Park offers sports facilities including a softball field, volleyball court, and basketball court. For younger visitors, there are adventure play and tot play areas. The park also has open green spaces, concrete walkways, and off-street parking for visitors.

Gardenland Park underwent improvements in recent years, including the installation of a bicycle trail. The City of Sacramento developed a master plan for further enhancements to the park, aiming to provide more recreational options for the surrounding community.
