Springtree Park

Springtree Park is a 12-acre nature park located in Gainesville, Florida. The park offers a blend of recreational facilities and natural beauty, making it an ideal spot for both active play and peaceful relaxation.

The park is characterized by its tree-lined landscape, featuring flatwoods and towering pines that create a serene atmosphere. Nature trails wind through the park, allowing visitors to explore the local flora and fauna. Along these trails, fern-covered slopes near Three Lakes Creek, a tributary of Possum Creek, provide scenic views for nature enthusiasts.

In July 2020, Springtree Park underwent significant improvements as part of the Wild Spaces Public Places project. These enhancements included the addition of a new colorful playground, adult fitness stations, and a deck overlooking Three Lakes Creek. The project also saw the construction of a new pavilion and improvements to the walking trails, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Springtree Park is open from dawn to dusk daily, offering ample opportunity for visitors to enjoy its amenities. The park welcomes leashed dogs, making it a favorite spot for pet owners in the area. Visitors are encouraged to bring binoculars for birding and observing local wildlife along the trails.
