Waterfront Park

Waterfront Park is a 20-acre public space located along the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Coast, Florida. The park offers visitors a serene natural setting with views of the waterway and opportunities for outdoor recreation.

The park features a variety of ecosystems, including coastal scrub that transitions into conifer hardwood. This diverse habitat supports native wildlife species, making it an excellent spot for nature observation. Visitors may spot manatees and dolphins in the waterway while strolling along the Intracoastal Waterway Trail.

Waterfront Park includes several amenities for public use, such as picnic pavilions, a playground, and a fishing pier. The park also provides access to the city's extensive trail system, with paved and hard-packed trails connecting to over 130 miles of paths throughout Palm Coast.

A unique feature of the park is the Children's Memorial Garden, located a quarter-mile north along the Intracoastal Waterway Trail. This shaded area, nestled under oak hammocks, offers a peaceful space for reflection with memorial benches and bluestone pavers.

The park's design aims to preserve the area's natural beauty and ecological function. To enhance visitors' understanding of the local environment, QR codes are placed throughout the park, providing access to educational videos on topics such as birding, local history, and native wildlife.

Waterfront Park is open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM, offering residents and visitors alike a place to enjoy outdoor activities and connect with nature along Florida's scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
