About Heroes Memorial Park in Palm Coast

Heroes Memorial Park is a public park located in Palm Coast, Florida. Constructed in 2006, the park serves as a peaceful space dedicated to honoring and remembering those who have served in the military and civil service agencies.

The park features engraved granite monuments displaying the names of fallen heroes from various branches of the military, as well as civil agencies such as police, fire, and rescue services. A Purple Heart Memorial is also present, dedicated to men and women wounded in American conflicts throughout history.

One notable feature of the park is the Survivor Tree, a Callery Pear Tree that was salvaged from the wreckage of the September 11th World Trade Center terrorist attacks. This tree serves as a living memorial and symbol of resilience.

Heroes Memorial Park hosts memorial services on significant dates such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Fourth of July, and September 11th to honor those who have served and, in some cases, given their lives in the line of duty.

The park is open daily from 7am to 7pm, providing residents and visitors with a tranquil environment for reflection and remembrance. Organizations may also rent the park for external events and gatherings, subject to certain conditions and fees.
