Daniel Webster Park

Daniel Webster Park is located in the Near South Side Community of Chicago, Illinois, at 1357 S. Indiana Avenue. Spanning a modest 1.20 acres, this urban park offers a serene, green respite amidst the bustling city environment. The park's history dates back to 2000 when it was donated to the Chicago Park District as part of a residential development. Initially designated as Park No. 513, the community affectionately referred to it as Daniel Webster Park. In 2013, its name was officially changed to Daniel Webster Park by the Board of Commissioners to reflect the community's preference. The park's centerpiece is a 50-foot-long pergola, crafted with precast concrete columns and clear cedar tops, showcasing both beauty and durability.

Although there are no structured programs directly offered at the park, nearby facilities such as the Chicago Women's Park and Gardens offer extensive recreational options. This small urban park remains a quiet, passive space for residents and visitors to enjoy.
