Kettler Park

Kettler Park, located at the intersection of Buell Drive and Paulding Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana, spans 6.3 acres and has been serving the community since 1947. The park offers a blend of recreational and relaxing amenities, making it a key spot for family gatherings, outdoor sports, and children's play. The space is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a tranquil environment ideal for both active and leisurely pursuits.

The park features a recently renovated playground equipped with modern and inclusive play structures. The playground includes a lookout tower, climbers, spinners, a tunnel slide, multiple swing bays, and sensory play elements. It is specially designed to be accessible for children of all abilities, supporting their physical, social, and emotional development. Adjacent seating areas provide spaces for caregivers to relax while keeping an eye on the children.

Other amenities include a basketball court, one tennis court, and four pickleball courts, catering to sports enthusiasts. There are also shaded picnic areas with tables, ideal for outdoor dining or relaxation. The Kettler Park Pavilion, a small enclosed seasonal structure available for rental, includes a wood-burning fireplace, kitchen facilities, and indoor seating for up to 46 people. This pavilion is a popular location for events and runs from May to October.

The park also has open grassy areas, which are great for recreational activities such as kite flying, and paved walking paths for leisurely strolls. With its blend of active and passive features, Kettler Park acts as both a community hub and a peaceful retreat.
