McMillen Park

McMillen Park, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a sprawling 107-acre recreational area that has been serving the community since 1937. Donated by Dale W. McMillen, it has since become a hub for outdoor activities and community engagement. The park is situated at the intersection of Hessen Cassel and Oxford Streets, making it accessible to nearby neighborhoods like Greater McMillen and Rudisill Plaza.

The park offers a wide variety of amenities and facilities, catering to people of all ages and interests. Its extensive walking trails provide opportunities for exercise and relaxation amidst natural surroundings. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the multiple basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball and football fields, or visit the McMillen Golf Course. This golf facility includes an 18-hole, par-65 executive course, a 9-hole short course, and a driving range, along with FootGolf to add a unique twist to the golfing experience.

For families, McMillen Park boasts a newly renovated, accessible, and inclusive playground designed to support children aged 2-12, with numerous features for sliding, climbing, balance activities, and more.
