About Eagle Park in Bend

Eagle Park is a 4-acre neighborhood park located in Bend, Oregon. Situated off Butler Market Road, the park offers beautiful natural areas featuring juniper, sagebrush, and bitterbrush, along with scattered outcroppings of lava rock. Visitors to Eagle Park can enjoy lovely views of the Cascade Mountains, providing a picturesque backdrop to their outdoor activities.

Developed in 2017, Eagle Park was designed with a focus on free-form creative play features and structures, making it the first district park of its kind in Bend. The park's playground area includes unique elements such as basket swings and a frisbee climber, encouraging imaginative and unstructured play for children.

The park's layout incorporates both natural and landscaped areas. A picnic area with gabion seating provides a space for visitors to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The park also features a lawn area where children can run and play freely. Eagle Park's design preserves much of the native vegetation, maintaining the area's natural character while providing recreational opportunities for the community.

Eagle Park is open daily from 5 am to 10 pm, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy its amenities throughout the day. The park's blend of natural beauty and modern play structures makes it a unique destination within Bend's extensive park system.
