Olympia Park

Olympia Park is a public park located in the Mount Washington neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The park spans approximately 8.6 acres and is situated at the southernmost end of Hallock Street, next to a playing field.

Olympia Park is part of the larger Emerald View Park system, which surrounds the neighborhoods of Duquesne Heights, Mount Washington, and Allentown. This urban park combines pre-existing park space with formerly mined and denuded hillsides, offering visitors a blend of natural and rehabilitated landscapes.

One of the notable features of Olympia Park is its dog park, providing a dedicated space for pet owners to exercise and socialize their dogs. The park is also integrated into the Emerald View Trails network, offering opportunities for hiking and exploring the surrounding area.

The park includes a shelter house, which was renovated and reopened in 2023 after being closed since a fire in 2009. This facility is now available to host athletic associations, community events, and private gatherings, enhancing the park's role as a community hub.
