A boat ramp is available, though it is restricted to non-motorized watercraft only. The clear waters of the lake offer enjoyable swimming conditions, but visitors should be aware that the shoreline can be rocky in some areas.
For those who prefer land-based activities, the park offers hiking opportunities and a sand volleyball court. There are also numerous picnic areas throughout the park, complete with barbecue grills for outdoor cooking. A reservable pavilion is available for larger gatherings, offering scenic views of the lake and amenities such as tables, chairs, and electrical outlets.
The park is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm, with closures to new entries 30 minutes before closing time. Visitors should note that there is an entrance fee, and the park only accepts cash payments at the entrance booth. On busy days, especially during holidays, the park may reach capacity and close to additional visitors to prevent overcrowding.
