About Highcrest Park in Fort Worth
High Crest Park is Fort Worth's smallest park. The park was acquired in 2006 when the City Council authorized the acquisition of three residential lots containing 0.74 acres from the Nirvana Community Development Group, also known as Mo Peracha, and dedicated it for park purposes.
Situated in the middle of a small residential neighborhood, High Crest Park is hemmed in by I-35W, Northeast 28th Street, and railroad tracks, which isolates it from other residential areas. The park takes its name from the addition where it is located. In 2014, plans were being formulated for the park's renovation.
Despite its small size, High Crest Park provides a green space for local residents to enjoy within their urban environment. The park offers a walking path and benches for visitors to use.
