Greenbriar Park

Greenbriar Park is a community park located in Fort Worth, Texas. The park was dedicated in 1973 and covers nearly 50 acres of land. It is situated in the Greenbriar neighborhood, which was developed in the early 1950s as a residential area for veterans following World War II.

The park features a small lake that is regularly stocked with fish by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. During winter months, the lake is stocked with rainbow trout, while channel catfish are added in spring and summer. This makes Greenbriar Park a popular spot for urban fishing enthusiasts.

In addition to fishing, the park offers various recreational facilities. It includes a disc golf course that attracts both beginners and experienced players. The park has undergone several improvements over the years, including playground renovations in 2004 funded through federal and state grants.
