Fairmont Park

Fairmont Park is a 27.07-acre public green space located in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities and natural features for visitors to enjoy.

The park includes a fishing pond that requires a license for use. This pond adds to the scenic beauty of the park and provides opportunities for anglers. Additionally, Fairmont Park features several athletic fields, including soccer fields and a half basketball court, catering to sports enthusiasts.

For families and children, the park offers two playgrounds. There are also pavilions available for public use, with some requiring reservations and others available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park provides restroom facilities in three locations for visitor convenience.

Fairmont Park incorporates a jogging and walking path, allowing visitors to exercise while enjoying the park's surroundings. For those interested in less traditional sports, the park includes a skate park and six pickleball courts.

The park is home to the Fairmont Aquatic Center, which offers various aquatic programs and facilities. An off-leash fenced area is available for dog owners, located in the southeast corner of the park.

Fairmont Park serves as a community hub, hosting events such as the Sugar House Fireworks and Arts Festival on July 4th, as well as concert series and other seasonal activities.
