Indian River Park

Indian River Park South Side is a 90-acre urban forest park located in Chesapeake, Virginia. The park is situated between Paramont and Rokeby Avenues, stretching south from Providence Road to the Virginia Beach city line. It is uniquely divided by Military Highway, with parcels on both sides of the road.

The park consists of large mature hardwood and pine trees, providing a lush canopy throughout. A small creek winds the entire length of the property, adding to its natural beauty. The forest serves as an important buffer for the headwaters of the Indian River, helping to slow water flow, reduce erosion, and filter pollutants.
