About Mayfair Park in Seattle
Mayfair Park is a small neighborhood park located in the Queen Anne area of Seattle, Washington. The park occupies a street-end knoll that was cleverly converted into a tiny green space for local residents to enjoy.
Situated just three blocks east of the southeast corner of Rodgers Park, Mayfair Park features a central play area for children. The park includes benches conveniently placed so parents can watch their children climb, slide and crawl on the playground equipment. A drinking fountain is also available for visitors.
The park's location provides views of the surrounding area. Just below the park's viewpoint, the flat ravine bottom was once the site of the early "Killman's Sand Bunkers" in Seattle's history. The area where the park now sits was platted in 1907 by the Mayfair Land Company.
Mayfair Park offers a quiet spot for relaxation and play in the Queen Anne neighborhood. While small in size, it serves as a valuable green space and gathering place for local families and residents.
