Scherer Park

Scherer Park is a 26.1-acre public park located in Long Beach, California, between Long Beach Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue, north of 46th Street. The park has a rich history dating back to 1944 when the original 11.14 acres were dedicated by developer Lloyd Whaley and the Home Investment Company. Over the years, additional parcels of land were acquired, expanding the park to its current size.

The park features a diverse range of natural and recreational elements. A notable feature is the lake, which includes an overlook on Atlantic Avenue with a waterfall and cascade. This water feature adds a serene and picturesque quality to the park, providing visitors with a tranquil spot for relaxation and enjoyment of nature.
