Angelo Rossi Park

Angelo J. Rossi Playground is a spacious park located at the corner of Anza Street and Arguello Boulevard in San Francisco, California. The park spans approximately 300,000 square feet, offering a variety of recreational facilities for visitors of all ages.

The playground features a dual-level design catering to both small children and older kids. For younger children, there is a playground structure with slides, while older children can enjoy unique and fun equipment. The playground area is fully fenced, providing a safe environment for play.

One of the park's main attractions is its indoor swimming pool, which is popular year-round. Sports enthusiasts will find plenty of activities available, including two busy baseball diamonds, basketball courts, and tennis courts. The park also offers a bocce ball court and areas for other field sports.

In recent years, the park has adapted to accommodate the growing popularity of pickleball. There are now three tennis courts that have been multi-lined for pickleball, plus one permanent pickleball court with a dedicated net. During designated hours, four rolling nets can be wheeled onto one of the tennis courts for pickleball play.

The park includes grassy areas and walking paths, providing space for relaxation and exercise. Visitors will find numerous benches and picnic tables throughout the park, making it an ideal spot for outdoor gatherings or quiet contemplation.

Angelo J. Rossi Playground is well-maintained and clean, although the grass may occasionally need mowing. The park is open until 10 PM, allowing for extended evening use.
