Brothers to the Rescue Memorial Park

Brothers to the Rescue Memorial Park is located in Miami, Florida. The park serves as a memorial to honor the members of Brothers to the Rescue, an organization that conducted search and rescue missions for Cuban refugees in the Florida Straits during the 1990s.

The park provides a tranquil space for visitors to reflect and pay respects to the four men who lost their lives when their planes were shot down by Cuban military aircraft on February 24, 1996. These men were Armando Alejandre Jr., Carlos Costa, Mario de la Peña, and Pablo Morales.

The park underwent renovations to improve accessibility and visitor amenities. These improvements included work on the parking lot and walkways.

The park is open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, allowing community members and visitors ample time to visit and use the facilities throughout the day.
