About Cypress Park in Boise

Cypress Park is a 7-acre neighborhood park located in Southeast Boise, Idaho. This public green space offers a variety of recreational facilities for local residents and visitors.

The park features open grassy areas suitable for casual sports and leisure activities. A walking path meanders through the park, providing opportunities for exercise and leisurely strolls. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the Boise Front from certain vantage points within the park.

Cypress Park includes designated areas for dogs, following a pilot program and neighborhood feedback. A 1.4-acre section of the park is available for hourly off-leash dog use. This area is located to the east of the tennis courts, shelter, and playground, on the inside of the sidewalk. Dogs are allowed off-leash in this designated area during specific hours: from sunrise to 10:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to sunset. Outside of these hours, dogs must be kept on a leash.

The park is open from sunrise to sunset, providing ample time for community members to enjoy its facilities throughout the day. On-site parking is available for visitor convenience.
