Honeycutt Park

Honeycutt Park is a 30-acre public park located in North Raleigh, North Carolina. Established in 1996, the park offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors of all ages. The park features two separate playground areas designed for different age groups: one for children aged 2-5 and another for those aged 5-12. Both playgrounds have a woodchip surface for safety.

The park includes several athletic facilities, catering to various sports enthusiasts. There is a lit baseball field, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball court. These amenities provide opportunities for organized sports as well as casual play.

For those seeking a more relaxed experience, Honeycutt Park offers a large picnic shelter with a capacity of 48 people. The shelter is equipped with six tables and two grills, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or community events. Restroom facilities are available on-site and are open year-round for visitor convenience.

Nature enthusiasts can enjoy the Honeycutt Greenway, which skirts the park. This greenway is part of a larger project to connect the existing Mine Creek Greenway Corridor to the South Shore Trail on Falls Lake, offering extended walking and biking opportunities.
