About Hill Street Park in Raleigh

Hill Street Park is a neighborhood park located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The park features a colorful community center that is primarily used for after-school programs. Adjacent to the community center is a pavilion with picnic tables and terraced landscaping leading to a partially fenced-in playground area.

The playground is divided into two sections to accommodate different age groups. For younger children ages 2-5, there is a smaller playground with slides, a climbing ladder, and tot swings. Older children ages 5-12 can enjoy a larger play structure that includes a half-moon rope climbing feature, monkey bars, balance beam, spinning bars, climbing rings, and slides. The playground surfaces are made of rubberized material to help cushion falls.

In addition to the playgrounds, Hill Street Park offers a picnic shelter and open grassy areas. The park provides a local recreation spot for residents of the surrounding neighborhood.
