Hansen Ridge Park

Hansen Ridge Park is a small community park located in the Sunset West/Rock Creek/Bethany area of Portland, Oregon, at the intersection of NW Kaiser Road and NW 147th Avenue. Opened in 2013, this one-acre park offers a blend of recreational facilities and natural features.

The park is situated near Bronson Creek, which feeds into a wetland on the eastern side of the park. A paved trail provides access to this wetland area, allowing visitors to explore and observe the local ecosystem. The park's design incorporates both play areas and opportunities for nature exploration, making it a versatile space for community use.

Hansen Ridge Park has undergone restoration work to enhance its natural environment. Invasive species such as Himalayan blackberry and English Ivy have been removed, and native trees and shrubs have been planted to attract local wildlife. This effort contributes to the park's role in supporting biodiversity within an urban setting.

The park is open daily from dawn to dusk, providing residents with a convenient outdoor space for recreation and relaxation throughout the year.
