Wellington Park

Wellington Park is a public park located in Northeast Portland's Roseway neighborhood. Acquired by the city in 1941, this 3.97-acre green space serves as a local recreational area for residents and visitors alike.

The park is situated near the northwest corner of the neighborhood, adjacent to Harvey Scott Elementary School. Its location at NE 66th Avenue and Mason Street makes it easily accessible to the surrounding community. The park's hours of operation are from 5:00 AM to midnight, allowing for extended use throughout the day.

In recent years, Wellington Park underwent upgrades with active participation from the neighborhood, demonstrating the community's involvement in maintaining and improving their local green spaces. The park features a mix of natural areas and developed recreational facilities, catering to various activities and age groups.

One of the park's notable features is its accessible play area, which includes engineered mulch surfacing and a ramp for easy entry. The play equipment is designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring a transfer station to accommodate children of different abilities.
