About Bernie's Beach in Madison

Bernie's Beach Park is a small public park in Madison, Wisconsin. Situated on the shores of Monona Bay, this 1.17-acre mini park offers visitors a sandy beach area for swimming and sunbathing. The park provides scenic views of downtown Madison and the Wisconsin State Capitol building across the water.

The beach at Bernie's Park features an accessible mat during the typical beach season from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, thanks to funding from the Madison Parks Foundation.
